Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the FiGuru mobile application or web dashboard ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and IOriented Digital Creations Limited ("we", "our", or "us").

2. Description of Service

FiGuru is a personal-finance management application that allows you to:

• Track multiple accounts (checking, savings, credit cards, cash, investments)
• Record and categorize transactions manually or by importing CSV/OFX/PDF statements
• Capture receipts via your device camera and have them parsed by AI
• Set up budgets, recurring-payment schedules, and savings goals
• View dashboards and insights across spending categories and time periods
• Track investment positions and portfolio balances

FiGuru is not a bank, broker, or financial advisor. The App does not move money, hold deposits, issue loans, execute trades, or provide regulated financial advice. We do not connect to your bank accounts or process payments. Any financial data in the App is information you choose to enter or import.

3. Account Registration

To use the App, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your password
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

4. Subscription and Payments

4.1 Free and Premium Tiers

The App may offer both free and premium subscription tiers. Free tier users may have limits on number of accounts tracked, transactions stored, AI-powered receipt scans per month, or other features.

4.2 Subscription Terms

Premium subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or yearly, depending on the plan you select) through Google Play or Apple App Store. By subscribing, you authorize the relevant app store to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

4.3 Auto-Renewal

Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You can manage and cancel your subscription through your device's app store.

4.4 Price Changes

We may change subscription prices at any time. Price changes will take effect at the start of the next subscription period following the date of the price change. Your continued use of the App after the price change constitutes your agreement to pay the new price.

4.5 Refunds

Refund requests are handled by the respective app store (Google Play or Apple App Store) according to their refund policies. We do not process refunds directly.

5. User Content

5.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of all financial data, receipts, notes, and other content you enter or upload to the App ("User Content"). By using the App, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, process, and display your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

5.2 AI-Generated Output

Output generated by AI features (receipt parsing, transaction categorization, spending insights) is provided as a convenience and may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing and correcting AI-generated output before relying on it. We make no guarantees about the accuracy of AI features.

5.3 Prohibited Content

You agree not to upload or store content that is illegal, fraudulent, infringing on third-party rights, or otherwise objectionable.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose (including money laundering, fraud, or tax evasion)
• Enter financial data that does not belong to you without authorization
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Interfere with or disrupt the App or our servers
• Use automated systems to access the App (bots, scrapers, etc.)
• Circumvent or attempt to circumvent usage limits or restrictions
• Share your account credentials with others
• Resell or redistribute the App or its features

7. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, and content (excluding User Content), is owned by IOriented Digital Creations Limited and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the App
• Reverse engineer or decompile the App
• Remove any proprietary notices from the App
• Use our trademarks (including "FiGuru" and "IOriented") without permission

8. Disclaimers

8.1 Service Provided "As Is"

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

8.2 Not Financial Advice

Information, summaries, and insights presented by the App are for personal-informational purposes only and do not constitute financial, tax, accounting, investment, or legal advice. Always consult a qualified professional before making material financial decisions.

8.3 Accuracy of Data

You are responsible for the accuracy of data you enter, import, or capture via receipt scanning. AI-parsed receipts and auto-categorization may contain errors and should be reviewed.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IORIENTED DIGITAL CREATIONS LIMITED SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

Our total liability for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless IOriented Digital Creations Limited and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. You may terminate your account at any time by:

• Canceling your subscription through your app store
• Requesting account deletion through the App settings or our deletion page
• Contacting us at support@ioriented.com

Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including ownership, warranty disclaimers, indemnification, and limitations of liability.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms in the App and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Hong Kong, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Hong Kong.
