FiGuru — Account & Data Deletion
Request Account Deletion
You can request deletion of your FiGuru account and all associated financial data. This action is permanent and cannot be undone.
How to Delete Your Account

Option A: Delete from the App
Open FiGuru → Settings → Account → Delete Account → confirm.

Option B: Email Request
Send an email to privacy@ioriented.com with subject line "Delete FiGuru Account" and include your username or registered email address. We will confirm receipt within 3 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days.
Data That Will Be Deleted
Upon account deletion, the following data will be permanently deleted within 30 days:
- Your account information (username, email, password hash)
- All accounts and balances you tracked
- All transactions you recorded or imported
- All receipts and statement images you uploaded
- Your budgets, goals, categories, and tags
- Your shopping lists and recurring-bill schedules
- Your AI chat history (receipt parsing, categorization)
- Your app preferences and settings
- Linked Google Sign-In tokens (if you used Google to sign in)
Data That May Be Retained
The following data may be retained for a limited period after account deletion:
- Subscription transaction records — Google Play / App Store purchase history may be retained for up to 7 years for legal and tax compliance
- Anonymized analytics — aggregated, non-identifiable usage statistics that cannot be tied back to you
- Legal holds — data subject to legal proceedings or lawful government requests
Important Notes
- ⚠️ Account deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed
- ⚠️ You will lose access to any active premium subscription
- ⚠️ We recommend exporting your transactions before deletion (Settings → Export Data)
- ⚠️ Deletion requests are processed within 30 days
